I've had my EO Tech 512 for about two years now and it has been great. Last week I had to take a shot at a critter and didn't have good cheek weld and my reticle wasn't square in the center, and it was in the top right hand corner of the scope. When the reticle is not in the center of the scope, and moves to any corner of the scope, or to the top or bottom, there is extreme distortion. The reticle is diluted  and washed out, and I started playing around with it and moving the reticle around the scope and I noticed this distortion was in the formation of a circle. I don't know if I can word it right for you guys to understand, but I was wanting to see if anyone else had this issue?

It could be caused by your vision if you have an astigmatism.  Take a picture of the reticle and see if the distortion shows up in the picture.  If not, get your eyes looked at.   If I don't wear my contacts, my EoTech reticles are fuzzy and out of focus, especially towards the edges.

When I bought it two years ago it was perfectly clear. I've had two full on concussions since and one mild, my shooting abilities have suffered noticably and when I got my eyes checked, I was told that among other things I had a mild astigmatism. I do notice that the reticle doesn't always seem in focus but it gets the job done for me. So that is not the issue. If I shift my face around on the stock of my rifle, which will shift the location of my reticle, if the reticle gets to a certain point in the scope it is like the hologram has an obstruction between it and the glass which makes it look like the reticle has been cut in half.
