Not sure if this belongs here, but I don't see a better spot.
I'm looking for a night vision device in the <$300 range, something that will go to at least 100-150 yards.  Doesn't have to mount to a weapon.  I have a piece of property with a growing coyote population, and a field where 150 yards will cover my shooting area.  I've done a lot of reading on the net, and the Yukon products seem to to be the favorite in the reviews I've read.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You quest the unobtainable; multiply your budget by 10x, or divide your range requirements by 5x.

ETA:  There are two more options; buy a $300 paperweight, or light three Franklins afire with your Bic lighter.

Unfortunately the previous poster wasn't making it up.

You could track down a used AN/PVS4 for around $7-900 and have something usable.

OP, you may be thinking murderman is just being a smart-ass but, unfortunately for you, he is not. A viable option for you might be HERE but even then you are looking at a six-fold increase in your target price. That being said, I doubt you are wanting to hear what we are saying so go ahead and order one in your price range BUT make certain they have a good return policy. Then contact Victor at TNVC for proper guidance.

Oh, and FWIW I clear 'yotes out of my AO using kit purchased from Victor ... and I started right were you are. Buy once, cry once, brother. (Tell him I sent ya)
