Considering the TA11H-M249. The M249 has a 21" bbl., and I think the sight hight will be similar to a flattop AR. I assume the round used is M855 (SS109).

I think it would work well in a 20" flattop. Mostly I'd be using either XM193, or 75 gr or 77 gr OTMs.

Any feedback?

If it has the SDO reticle in it, it has BDC lines for the 19.5" and 14.5" barrel M855 ball. The 19.5 BDC lines are used for range finding and auto ranging, while there are tic marks below each of them for usage by the 14.5" Para-SAW barrel. We tell the IAR gunners to hold in-between the two for its 16.5" barrel .

The reticle also looks bent, that is by design to compensates for long range spin drift
