ADM mounts thread (Page 5 of 6)
| I need a mount for a bushnell 1x4 and a 4.5 x16 1 in and 1 in 30.mm would the recon cantilever be a good match? and if so who usually has good prices on them or just wait for a sale to happen, I usually shoot nose to charging handle or very close to it, thanks, would a non cantilever mount work also |

I've purchased from rainier arms and the ADM website themselves. They seem to move enough that I haven't seen em on sale, but if you're a veteran and call the sales number they've given me a discount. |

I'm thinking about the Scout mount for a 300 Blackout rifle, but I'd like to hear about others' experience with the Scout on a 300 Blk.
I have a Recon mount on my M16A4 clone and it's great. (No pictures at the moment, sorry.  )

I have the Recon on my 300 Blk SBR, seen a few posts up. The Scout is pretty much the same mount, except it has one QD lever instead of 2. It still has the same forward offset as the Recon mount. The mounting system is still rigid, even though it only has 1 QD lever. It was designed to be used on rifles with short mounting rails, where you can only fit 1 QD lever. CWG, the mount you speak of is their Recon-S mount.

Shit I didn't even know that was a thing. I thought yours had the recon thing on it. Too many models to keep track of between bobro, adm, larue, aero, Samson, ggas, etc.

| I'm looking at a Nikon P-300 scope for this. It's not terribly heavy. I like the built-in super/sub reticle, and Nikon's P-series scopes in general, so this is a good choice for me. Am I correct in gathering that the Scout would do just fine with this scope on my 8" upper? |

Why are the Vortex branded mounts sold with the solid rings and the ADM branded mounts sold with the skeleton rings? What is the weight difference between the 2?

My very first ADM mount from many years ago had the skeleton rings and my much newer Vortex has the solid. If you go back through the pictures you will see almost all Vortex branded mounts have the solid rings. |

My Grendel's new scope arrived, a Steiner 3-12x50 Military, needed a new mount for it. Went with the Recon 34mm/20 MOA mount.  |

They've all been on/off multiple times over the years, and I've never experienced a loss of zero I could quantify. I know for a fact my hunting 6.8 with a Recon-X has never been rezeroed since 2009 or 2010 (I think that's the season I built it). I confirm zero every so often for my peace of mind, but it's always held dead on. |

No problems swapping between aimpoint pro's and scopes when shooting out to 300m (my max local range) I always try to snug them to the rear before throwing the lever. |
