I want to adapt a Colt scope that has a carry handle mount to fit on a flat top. Has anyone ever done this? Would a Trijicon mount work? Is there anything cheaper? Do I have to drill and tap the scope? Thanks for any advice in advance.

you could get a detachable carry handle and mount the scope to it.

I have one. I wanted to be able to use it on both a flat top and a carry handle. There must be a way to use it on both. Trijicon makes an adapter does anyone else make one?
