I just received an Eotech XPS2-0 today and mounted it on my rail. I haven't gotten it to the range yet and it may be a few days before I do. The elevation adjustment softly clicks going up or down. The windage adjustment screw/knob does not click at all. It seems to move the reticle but there is no positive click.
The question is whether the windage will drift or not when shooting. If not, I'm okay with it since this isn't something I'll need to fool with once I get it sighted in. However, if it's going to drift, then I probably need to send it back. Seller has a three day return policy. Experiences? Opinions? Thanks. |

Took about 3 weeks to get back and the clicks are very positive now after it was returned. I had it for about 2 months on a rifle before I sent it in and it held zero fine. The clicks are more of a reference then a lock up. But I figured I payed enough for it and wanted it right. The process to repair was painless and easy. Since I was sending it in, I requested to have the battery cap lanyard changed from the rubber to the cable that comes on the EXPS series of sights. They did it with no charge.

| As already mentioned above the clicks are more to help than a locking mechanism. I have never seen an EOTech without audible clicks so this is a first for me! But I assume you payed some good coin for that optic and sighting it in without that physical and audible click will be a bit tricky. I would probably also send it back. I'm sure it will function just fine but if it requires some serious adjustments it may take a little longer without knowing for sure how far you have turned the knob. Just my .02 |
