Do the windage and elevation knobs move the reticle straight up and down, and left or right, or diagonally.

This is with the elevation know at the 12 position.

My user manual says that if you want to adjust the point of impact, either up or down, to use the top knob. If you want to adjust left or right to use the windage adjustment knob.

Thanks man. My buddy says his moves the reticle diagonally. I told him I guess it would do that if the elevation knob isn't at the 12 position.

I could be wrong though.

Yep, just like a regular scope. Of course this is provided you have the Aimpoint sitting plumb in the mount.
