What is the best distance to zero the Doctor sight on the ECOS? I was thinking about the 50/200 yd zero, but it's mostly for close in work. Would a 15 or 25 yad zero work better?

RDS can be zeroed at any distance, IMHO zero it at 50

When zeroing your ECOS,

Convert yards to meters, the BAC is calibrated for meters, this seems to be the biggest issue when zeroing an ACOG. Most ACOGs use a preliminary zero at 25meters (27.3 yards) using the 300 meter stadia line. Then the tip of the chevron is your final zero at 100 meters ( 109.3 yards )

If you are a good enough for government work type shooter, or close enough is good for me then zero using yardage. But if you want to use your ACOG to its full potential and want the best accuracy for the BAC system zero it in meters.

1 yard = .914 meter

Best advice is to follow the zeroing procedures in your owners manual from Trijicon.

I zeroed the ACOG about 1" high at 100 yds. I just wasn't sure about zeroing the Docter at 50 yds because of the height over bore. I'm just thinking the RDS will be used like 25 yds and closer.

Basically the Docter is used as a back up optic or a dedicated optic for CQB.  Depending on how it will be used, 25yds is a very practical set up. IMO just experiment with it at the range at various distances( 15-75yds) fine it tune to your liking.
