on my basic SHTF carbine, i am using BUIS - everything works fine, and i hit what i aim at. no problem.

on my "longer range" rifle, i currently have an EOtech and i love it. it is the 557 with the drop compensator and seems to be pretty much on. i will use this with my standard 55g stuff.

however, i am also reloading for longer range "larger bullet" accuracy and am planning to get a decent scope when the funds accumulate. i already have a Larue LT-104 mount (buggy before the horse syndrome) and will want to swap from the EOtech to the scope and not need to adjust the EOtech. I understand (perhaps incorrectly) that the LT104 will not lose the aiming point with removal and reattachment.

do i need some sort of similar quick release mount for the Eotech or can I simply "mark" my mounting location on my rail and replace it at that spot when wanted ... thanks in advance !
