I am looking for a scope that i can use for all around use. i need help choosing one and have looked into these. This may be to vague of a question and maybe there is no answere

I have a Burris XTR-14 and love it. Its 1X is true 1x and you can shoot both eyes open at 1x like a red dot sight.At 4x you can easily make out a 1" target at 200 yards if your eyes are healthy. Ballistic reticle is helpfull and the illumination is excelent in dim/dark, though it does wash out in sunlight. I don't need illumination in daylight anyway. The crosshair is crisp and the glass is very clear with comfortable eye relief. I havn't been hard on mine but it seems rugged enough as far as scopes go.
I paid a little over $500 for mine from Vallhalla Armory and spent $200 on a Larue SPR-E mount. Any other questions you have about the Burris I havn't answered let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.
