Who has one?  What are your thoughts?

Excellent concept w/flawed execution. Battery life is very poor, it's easy to damage the main battery lead in the battery compartment, tritium is so dim as to be almost useless (supposedly for NV compatiblity) and the fiber optic collector glows at night when using the battery so it you have to remember to cover it. Now, brighten the tritium and replace the current battery w/an AA or CR123 and I'd seriously reconsider it (loved the chevron reticle & daytime performance).

I had one on my suppressed 9mm AR an found that it was ok, but like it has been mentioned the battery life sucked. The other issue I had was that if you were in a darker area looking into a brighter area I would have to constantly turn it on as the fiber optic didn't collect enough light. If you were trying to shoot white steel plates in bright sunshine it also was a problem. I sold it and went to an Aimpoint.

I have no idea why Trijicon has not tried to make any improvements to the Tri-Power in the last 4-5 years. Do a search on any gun forum (I have) and the complaints are the same. Perhaps they simply plan to phase it out, I don't know.
