Very cool!  Let us know how your experience was once you've taken it out and slug some lead with it.

best XPS in that it has a QR lever built in, a 7mm riser and side mounted buttons....

Man I can't wait for mine...It will be here tomorrow.  I'm replacing my 553 with this thing, so I'm interested to see if I can feel any weight difference, as the EXPS is about half the weight of the 553.  I'm doing a class over the weekend, so I should be able to wring it out pretty well.

Congrats OP.  Good looking sight and rifle.

Are you getting the 2-0 or 2-2 ?  It was a pondering decision between the two but preferred the 2-2.

I got the 2-0.

Very interesting that EOTech released a EXPS2-2 version. When the EXPS line was originally slated for release there was only the EXPS3-0 or EXPS3-2 (both NV comp) not 2-0's or 2-2's.  Nothing on my pice list even shows a non NV model nor does the L-3 EOTecg website!?!

Got mine in today––pics will be forthcoming.

I have owned a number of different EOTech models, and this one is the nicest, most 'quality-feeling' model I've owned.  The throw lever is nicer than I thought it was going to be and feels solid.  It looks a little homely, but I dig it.

Yes post some pics. Also how do you like the 1/3 co-witness ?

I really like the lower 1/3rd set up––its what sold me on the 553 in the first place back in the day.  The rifle I put this on is my duty / patrol rifle, and I like to store it with my BUIS in the up / deployed position so I've always got something to look at in case the RDS goes down or I don't have time to deploy it, and the lower 1/3rd gives a more uncluttered picture through the sight.

ETA.  Photobucket has been down for the last few hours, but I'll get some pics up when its back working.

I guess I'm just no use to the 1/3, I do like the quick detach so i'm sure I'll get use to it.

I was having trouble with Photobucket when I posted these picks.

Can you remove the 7mm riser on the EXPS versions? I like the side buttons, but want the absolute co-witness.

It does not appear so.

Yup...Quite a bit lighter, and takes up half the rail space of the 553 it replaced.  The throw lever is pretty nice too––not that I ever had any problems with the SWAN throw levers on the 553, but this mount feels much sturdier, and it incorporates a lock to prevent accidental opening.
