[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Armalite scope mount copy

Did Armalite ever make any of their one piece scope mounts without the Armalite markings?
I am looking at unmarked mount that looks almost identical to a real one. If it is a copy, does anyone know who made it?

I used to have one of there mount ring combo's I bought directly from them and it had an emblem on it. Been so long though I cant remember if the emblem was the Armalite emblem.
Call them or email them.

The one I am comparing to a real one has no markings, the real one has "ARMALITE"... stamped on the side.

There were a couple others that are similar to the early model and won't have any Armalite markings. I think they were Promag, Wilson, and Rock River. I would think of those three the Promag would be the least likely to have the logo.

I can only see 1 minor difference in a real one and the mount in question. After re reading your post, I am talking about the newer style, with the forward offset.
