I need a scope for my new 16" LMT. I have a budget of about 200.00. I have been looking at the Vortex 3-7x35 and the 3-9x40 I can't decide. I will be using the scope for mostly target shooting 300 yards at the most. I have a Eotech that I will be using for AR classes. I would appreciate any suggestions or input. Thanks in advance!

I think either one would be  fine.   If you will be shooting at lot at 200-300 yards, you might go for the 3-9x,  but you will need a little higher mount.
