| I have RRA CAR rifle that is needing a new or used A2 F-marked front sight but I am having trouble finding one I've looked at the sponsors web pages but can't locate one...Thanks |

There are two things on an AR that I would not attempt ... one is replacing a barrel extension and the other is replacing a pinned A2 site with another one. The problem is the new site you purchase will probably not match your taper pin holes .. everyone is a little different than the next.
You could probably send the barrel to ADCO and maybe they can repin another standard A2 site for you .. but I would call them first. They also have clamp on A2 sites like these so you do not have to worry about the taper pins. Clamp on A2 2nd Clamp on A2 These are just examples ... there are also others out there. Hope this helps. |

Gatorhunt has a very good point. Not to mention, by the time you you buy the parts, pay for a good shop like ADCO Firearms to do the work, and the shipping, you'd probably be just as well off to sell what you've got and get a barrel that already has an F FSB. |
| your going to be hard pressed not to spend that much on a quality set of buis. I have access to a cnc machine shop so I bought fmarked fsb from m4store (cause bravo was sold out) and and alligned it +/- 0/1000ths with the barrel alignment pin. If you dont have access to this, I reccomend Daniel Defense sight set |

I have a low profile gas block would I be better off doing that and buying a different sight to mount on my rail? If so which sight for a plinking rifle front and rear and I would like to do it without spending 200.00 as I said this is a plinker...Thanks On this page in the middle there is RRA fixed front site for 40.00. Don't think you will get much cheaper than that for a front fixed site ... but look around you might find something cheaper. |
