| Good optic for the money. Sturdy enough for 99% of AR users, good quality, lifetime warranty and comes from a site sponsor with great customer service. I have one and have been very pleased. I"m waiting for the Vortex SPARC to come out for my next build. Most who have the StrikeFire seem to like it. The Primary Arms red dots also seem to be well liked on this forum, but I have no personal experience with them. Go to the Industry forum here and check out the Vortex forum, you'll get plenty of feedback there. |

Unfortunatly we are out of our M3 style but do have the new Brighter single color Strikefire in stock.

| My biggest problem is that the power button is on the side of the unit. My Vortex would always turn on when the rifle was in case and even with the auto-shutoff feature, I would drain batteries quickly. Other than that, I haven't really had an issue with it. I will be giving it a true test this weekend at a match. |

I had one on my Ruger SR-22. I liked it but my eyes dis not. I have an astigmatism and the dot was blurry to my eyes. I had others look through it and it was fine for them.
Biggest criticism I have heard is that it is not an Aimpoint...but it is not $700.00. Good sight for the money. Great for the range or light home use. If I were a soldier I would want an Aimpoint. |

Vortex actually listens to customer feedback and this is a problem that many people mentioned, so they fixed it. |

Also, the newest red/green ones will have the updated power button as well. However, if you don't have the updated power button we found that simply rotating the sight 90 degrees counter clockwise in the ring will put the control module on the bottom and the power button is protected, yet still accessible. By doing this your windage becomes an elevation adjustment and your elevation adjustment becomes a left side windage adjustment. -Sam |
