Just looking for a little info on these. I picked up a set on the EE and im not sure if they are the real deal or not. Both flip smoothly, and both have the flat head bolts. Neither flip automatically, and I cant seem to find a front sight posted up anywhere that looks exactly like the one I received.

Basically im looking for ANY info from anyone that has used these or owns a set. Are the markings legit? Non-auto flipping legit? I know there are Airsoft copies out there and I would hate to have been took since I dont have too much cash at the moment to finish the project and these are going to be what I use for now.

Only picture I have at the moment is them on my rifle and the one that the seller had up. I can take better ones this evening.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have the rear sight and it looks and works just like yours.

I can't tell from your photo- does your rear have a raised line that points to the marks when flipped up?

Is there red locktite in the threads or where the hardware is attached?

I believe your front sight is good- the pin with the C-clip type deal with what appears to be the red stuff I was talking about.  Chinese ones don't have that as far as I recall...

Seems to be legit.

KAC sights do not deploy automatically.

I think there is a little raised line, I will double check when I get home.

Yes to the red, however it does not look like locktite. It looks more like some sort of metallic red c-clamp or ring in there- I can take some pics when I get home.

Thanks for the info so far. The seller is legit with good feedback, I was just a little nervous-

I picked them up for $210 shipped which is what made me wonder- I will have pics up shortly for those interested.

my KAC front sight looks identical to yours but doesn't have the pt. no. or NSN on it.

Exactly, I cant seem to find any other sites with those numbers on them.

My front KAC from Operationparts.com had the engravings on it.

I've noticed that there are a lot of clones out there and none have the correct red C-clip.

Things may have changed since the three years ago that I checked.

most airsoft crap is built to metric specs (threads)...
since the rear sight seems to be real, try to use its flathead bolt in the front sight and see if its built to US specs as well.
