Interested in the idea of putting a long and CQ optics on the same rig. Scope for long range (example super sniper 10x40), and a T1 for CQ( mounted with a TNVC SAR or DD offset rail). Seems to be the best of both worlds with weight being the biggest drawback. Now I swear I remember reading that most long range engagements are under 60 yards and CQ are under 7 yards( some FBI stat). Seems a T1 would do it all if 60 was the end all number. Just curious after seeing a few ar's built with a scope and red dot combo.
Anyone have experience with this setup or similar? |
