| My apologies if this has already been postd before. What it is the best spotting scope I can purchase for 300 or less? Id like to use it out to 300 yards for 5.56 but I hear for 300 yards you have to spend BIG bucks. It'll be mostly for range use and possibly some hunting. I was looking at a Leupold Wind River Sequioa, but Im not sure if theres better. Thanks for any help! |
| I just ordered a Konus,Konuspot 65 from Amazon.I researched like crazy for a few weeks and this is what I came up with as a good scope for the money.I was also looking at Bushnell, but they have a lot of factory reconditioned scopes, that raises a red flag for me.A lot of benchrest shooter compare the Konus to the Kowa which is a top spotting scope. The Leupold was a contender but the more I read about it the more I found the people complained about the quality of the glass. Hope this helps you out.Did not get to try mine out yet It's at the post office ,will have to pick it up tomorrow. Good luck,Mike http://www.opticsplanet.net/konus-konuspot-80-80mm-3-1-spotting-scope.html |
