I'm looking at eventually putting an Aimpoint Comp ML2 on my M4, and have a couple questions about the mounts for it. First of all, I've seen the cantilever and standard mounts. I can see the difference between them, but what are the advantages to the cantilever? Does it just allow your sight to sit farther forward?
Also, what are the best brands? The main ones that I was looking at were LaRue and GG&G. I looked at the LT-129 and LT-150 LaRue, and the GGG-1004 and GGG-1013. Are there any other good brands out there that aren't quite as pricy? I'd also at some point like to add the Aimpoint 3x with the ability to fold it down, looking at the LaRue LT-649. Just wanted to get the ARFCOM professional opinion. Thanks guys |
