Hello All,

I need a little help. I recently mounted a Nikon 4 x 16 mildot using a AMD Recon X QD mount.

To get it positioned where I wanted it I had to remove my YHM back up sight. I have tried searching for a riser that would allow me to keep the BUS on with the scope, but I'm not finding anything. Can you help me out??

You need a low profile BUS, like Troy, MI etc., to clear the scope.

YHM makes several risers. I have a 5" on my RRA. I think it also comes in a 6". If you don't want to go with a riser, maybe a low profile BUIS will fit.

Thanks for the info guys. Maybe when I get home I'll measure to see how much room I have to play with for the low profile rear sight. It would be nice to be able to keep the same elevation for a consistent cheek weld regardless of what sighting system I have in place. I plan on a red dot sight as well with the irons co-witness.
