I'm building an 18" rifle and would like to shoot out to 300 yards.
I've got about $300 for a scope and have narrowed it down to the Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15X40 tactical, and the Millett TRS 4-16X50. Either one will be riding in a larue SPR mount. I really like the way the dials are set up on the Millett, but not sure how it will compare optically to the Bushnell. Both are within the same price range, so that's not an issue. Just hoping someone can give me some feedback to help me decide which would have better optics. Thanks! |

Thanks for the replies -
You guys say Elite, better optics? Or better name? I know the Millett is made in China while the Elite is made in Japan. Is the AO on the front vs. the side going to be an issue? This will mostly be a bench gun. the Elite has a 1" tube, vs. 30mm on the Millett - any difference in optics there? thanks again. |

Japan > China all day long. |
