I'm going to get an EOtech for my AR and have a question about the mounting height.  Using the stock EOtech integrated mount, how will my sights witness?  The rifle is a 16" flat-top with front post marked "f".  If someone has pictures available (and what mounts you used to get the sight picture you did)..I'd be very appreciative.  I searched but couldn't find an answer.  Thanks for the help!

I'm using a buis, not fixed in the rear.

It will depend on what model you get.  If you're using a 512 model you'll get an absolute witness and if it's a 517 (with integrated riser) you'll get a lower 1/3.

It's pretty much going to be like this depending on what model you get.

Here's my 517 model that gives me the lower 1/3.
