I did a search and read the posts that I found. I am interested in the RX06 and the RX01. I have found them for $340 and $280 respectively. I am leaning towards the RX06 (triangle) for my carbine length AR (M4 type). Any suggestions, feedback or concerns?
I read about the dark-light shooting, but don't plan on doing that much type of shooting. On an ARMS mount will it co-witness with a standard front site or is it too low? Looking for any and all advice/opinions. Also if you know a good place w/a good price. Ed |

I] I am not knocking the RX30 as it is a very impressive optic. But for my taste, it is too big. I actually mounted my buddies RX30 on my rifle and took a peak through it and it looked "out of proportion"; just my opinion. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v510/yfz450air/IMG_1380.jpg" It is large but its footprint on the rail is smaller than my eotech 553 surprisingly. |

Thanks for all the replies, I got to look through and use the RX01NSN at the range and liked it. The dot is small which is nice. I know some complain about the 6.5 MOA dot out passed 200 yards, but this is setup to be more a battle rifle for me and I don't plan on taking shots commonly to and past 200 yards. I would like to test out the RX06 though to see it. I have played with a tri-power and an Acog so I have an idea of the Chveron desgin.
Appreciate the comments, and I am open to more. Pics help too! Ed |

I've been running a RX-09 for a few years now.
It features a chevron reticle. It also has a port to insert a mini Cyalume stick in to help aleviate the wash-out problems most that most complaints come from. It sits atop a GG&G Accucam mount which gives me a 1/3 co-witness, and has tension adjustment for wear or out of spec rails. |

I agree with Tomac I would certainly look through an RX30 before I would buy another trijicon reflex it is vastly superior to previous models and is my go to optic now. The reticle is usable for any shooting I need 0-100yds, for indoor and outdoor shooters who fear battery powered failure at the worst time, this is the answer. I thought the 6.5 moa dot would be too large but at fifty yards my groups are as tight as ever compared with my eotech. This is not a long range reticle but it is blazzingly fast and for its purpose, less then 200 yards shooting I LOVE the RX 30. The LARGE lens on this thing is awesome! That RX30 looks right at home on your FS2000! |

I absolutely LOVE my RX01NSN. It is small and compact and I have NEVER experienced any "wash out" even where I live. I live in a VERY SUNNY southern Nevada and this is my choice for a CQB optic. Mine is a 4.3 MOA dot and I am shooting 1" groups at 50 yards. I consider this very adequate for a Close Quarter Battle rifle. Edit: Also the RX01 offers a perfect lower 1/3 co-witness with a standard front sight post. I thing the RX30 does the same. (IIRC) You have a real nice looking setup! I loved my reflex w/12moa triangle. Wish I never sold it now that I am wanting another one! |

I’m not a fan of the RX01 or 06. The RX30 are nice but I feel the Aimpoint and EoTech are better.

I was trying to cover multiple duties with my 4.3 MOA dot. I wanted it to be great up close and still decent out to 150-200 yards. If I was building a "strictly CQB" rifle, I would definitely go with the 12 MOA triangle. |

The 12.5 was mounted on my Colt R0635 9mm sub gun which was a CQB weapon for sure. Now with the idea of the 556 I am leaning towards the 4.3 dot for a bit more reach out and touch someone zombies "if" I had too.

Does anyone currently make a QD picatinny mount for these (OTHER than ARMS)? I thought GG&G made an accucam, but I was not able to find one on their website. I like the FOV of the RX30, but would want the ability to use a polarizing filter, so the RX0NSN looks like the better deal. I would like to ask the OP where he found an RX01 for less than $300?!
