I'm in Iraq right now, and I bought a Remington 700, .308 while i was home on leave.  I need a scope for it, and i really like the Super Sniper scope.  I dont have the most knowledge when it comes to long range scopes, but i've heard a lot of good things about this one, and it is very affordable.  Any suggestions on what power i should get??  and where is a good website to order one?

thanks guys!

It depends on what range you plan on shooting. With a 308 I would suggest either 10x or 16x but not the 20x.

Here are some good reviews on tactical scopes:
Sniper Central Scope review

A few other brands to look at are Falcon, Wonder Optics, Millet, Hawke and the high end Muellers. All of these are in the same price range as the Super Sniper and are comparable in quality but have different options that may better suit your needs.

Wonders Optics (They sell both Falcon and Wonder Optics scopes)
SWFA (They have pretty much all the rest)

I have personally looked through, messed with and dicked with the Falcons. I own or have owned Muellers, Hawke and Millett and all have been great and are clear. I haven't held a Wonder Optics scope but have heard nothing but great reviews on it when you take the cost into consideration.

Hope this helps
