| Who has the best deal on an Aimpoint T1. Would like to buy from a site sponsor if possible. |
|
Pretty good with the free mount...
http://www.smartgunner.com/MicroT1.aspx |
| I ordered mine from his site and called him BEFORE ordering my T1 to see if they were in stock. I was actually going to get an H1, but he was out of stock on those and decided just to go with the T1. Since then...no communication. Not really worried because of the avenues I have, but I was just wondering other peoples "contact" experience with Smartgunner. |

Couldnt find any review on ARFCOM but they are top rated by google. Took a leap of faith, ordered on New Years Eve before the partying began. At my front porch on Wednesday. The real deal. Seal OE Box, manuals, the whole 9 yards. I would order from them in a heartbeat. Beat everyone on net handsdown by a mile. |

T-1 $486.00 H-1 $433.00 Smartgunner lists the Aimpoints at" T-1: $608 H-1: $542 Where is this price of $486 & $433? Is this a onetime special deal? I found those low prices over on www.manventureoutpost.com. |

Found here:http://www.manventureoutpost.com/categories/Optics/ Emailed sales, the prices are what the prices are. not a one time deal or sale. Not sure how they can be so cheap compared to everyone else, but I may of made a mistake by spilling the beans on manventure, LOL. They probably are probably going to sell out now and increase their prices when new stock comes in. (DAMN, HOPE NOT). Buy while you can. No worries KM223, They are good as gold. Even answered back an email on Sunday. |

I placed an order with Manventure, for the H-1 and the Larue mount. Even with shipping, plus the strange handling/insurance fee, they were the cheapest. Yea that was strange. Smoke'n price though. I just filled out a SWFA 110% low price gaurantee form regarding the price at Manventure. Will be interesting to see what happens. MV has the Larue mount for this sight for under a $100.00 too. Too bad SWFA doesn't sell the Larue mount too.
Now I wait...

Maybe this is why they ignored that form I took the time to fill out. Didn't bother to at least get back to me and tell me to go get bent? Damn, I could have had my sight by now if I would have just ordered from MV. I figured I'd save a few bucks and support an "Industry Partner"... |

Huh? today's manventure prices You have to actually have to set up an account to see the prices now. If they are not an authorized dealer of aimpoints they sure do have a crapload of them. Is the only thing about being an authorized dealer is that their guaranteed to be authentic? Their CS was top notch and fast shipping. The aimpoint I bought from them is authentic as it gets. Havent heard of anyone on ARFCOM say that they got something questionable. I guess we'll see as there was a ton of members that ordered from them just off this thread alone. |

I have no idea what the"dealer" designation denotes. All I know is the lack of it seems to serve SWFA an easy out on honoring their low price guarantee. ManVenture and smartgunner look to be about the same price with the mount figured in. Guess one of them will get the business. |

I just got an email (today) from SWFA saying they will match the price: However, since I have to have a mount, I will likely go with smartgunner.

Well that's interesting. Seems she is OK with it then changes her mind? I don't get it. I filled out the same form you guys did and didn't get shit back. Maybe a phone call is in order...
Wait, I just noticed that one is an H-1 and the other is a T-1. Maybe that's the difference. This is not looking good for SWFA in my opinion. Maybe we can get some sort of explaination/clarity from SWFA in this thread? |
| If you look at the dates of submission, they approved the match 2 days after they denied it. Not sure what that means....But you have my approval in writing. Could be just a misunderstanding, could mean no more money from me to this industry partner. We will see how SWFA address it. I hope they make it right, I like going over there and picking up product in person (they are located about 15 miles from my house). |

ISN'T THIS THE BOTTOM LINE, IF WE ASSUME ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL LIKE C/S, FAST SHIPPING ETC.
SWFA OpticsPlnt SmrtGunner TNVC CTD Midway Manventures T-1 $608 $608 $608 $608 N/A $633 $491 H-1 $540 $542 $542 $542 N/A $564 $438 M3 $540 $510 $540 $540 $500 $563 $436 ML3 $485 $486 $486 $486 $450 $505 $392 M2 $478 $478 $478 $478 $440 $497 N/A ML2 $428 $428 $428 $428 $395 $446 $345 Prices as of 1/14/2010 Now I can say that CTD Typically has great prices and c/s but man, they must make a bundle off shipping. Ever heard of USPS flat rate shipping. One can cram alot of stuff in the $8.00 flat rate shipping box. That being said maybe someone can answer what "authorized dealer" gets me as the consumer. I bought a dishwasher last year. Went to Sears then to Best Buy where it was cheaper so I bought it. Didn’t ask them if they were an authorized dealer because does it matter. If it craps out on me I'm pretty sure the cheezy guy who sold it to me wont show up at my house, they'll make me call frigidaire warranty department. Warranty: I have yet to be able to send something back to where I bought it unless something goes tits up in the first 30 days for a full exchange. Who offers the warranty. Not the retailer but the manufacturer. If your aimpoint s**ts the bed dont you send it to Aimpoint. Customer Service: How much can you get ordering stuff online, This is how 99.9% of my experiences are. Front End: Informative Website, professional, ease of use, "please god, don’t let some hacker get my credit card info as I'm typing it in" Middle: After you just gave who knows your credit card number, we want follow up. Confirmation of Order, Status, When it shipped and anticipated arrival. Isnt this all automated. I have yet to get a phone call saying "Hey we sent your stuff, just wanted to make sure your fully satisfied so far." Back End: 98% of us have never dealt with this including me. We want to be able to speak with someone now if our shits messed up if your in the 2% with problems. Pricing: Isnt this the bottom line and as consumers we are at the mercy of the retailers. It should be like buying a car. We can go onto Vehix see what the cost is and take that into the dealer with us. Does anyone look at the MSRP sticker and say I'll take it. Does anyone know what an Aimpoint costs for the dealers? Looking above sure looks to me like everyone is offering us gun fanatics MSRP so the only things we can go by is "Hey, Johnny gave me great customer service and was a great guy". If he was such a great guy couldn’t he cut me a better deal on a black metal tube with two pieces of glass Bottom Line: Don’t penalize the guy who has the stones to give us the consumer better pricing. Everyone posts their "bid" for your business and the winner is who the winner is. If someone can sell you the same thing for $100 cheaper without you having to ask them to match someone they deserve your business IMO. Why does someone get a second chance, cuz their good guys. I say if a vendor can still make a buck to stay in business and save me a benjamin we all win. NO, I don’t work for anyone here. I am a construction worker who like everyone else, every dollar counts. |

Cool, I saw you gave the guy on the other thread their link for his leupold. I have no interest in promoting anyone but it is what it is. Times are tough and money tight for everyone and wouldnt you figure people/partners that have joined the ARFCOM community should be about people with a common interest helping each other out.
Blows my mind, does anyone know how many T-1's were sold to civilians last year? 100K, more. But 99.9% are priced at full MSRP (just a guess based on prior post). Maybe I'm way offline here and Aimpoint is the Bose of the scope world. " You want to sell our brand, you sell if for MSRP". I cant imagine that is the case because does anyone here believe MVO is selling Aimpoints at a loss? |

The form for SWFA is bullshit. If the price is too low they will weasel out, if the vendor is a dealer and they sell too low you are snitching for SWFA and they will whine to Aimpoint. Fuck SWFA.
Manventure realized their prices are too low after everybody here started ordering so they raised their price accordingly. I've always ordered from Smartgunner via ebay so I get the bing cash back and will continue to do so. He's offered a fair price from the start and kept it that way. |
