[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Eotech size

Is there only one size for the eotech's window, or are some bigger than others? I was looking at pics taken in Iraq and it looked like the glass was alot bigger than my old 512.

I've owned a number of Eotechs over the years and IIRC the windows were all the same size.

Same glass for all models although some models 'look' bigger since they have the integral riser (517, 557, etc.). What pics are you talking about?

You know I had the same question. I sold my brother my 512 to get a 517. He didn't care so I went for it. I just booted up the extra. Anyway, Looking thru the 517 I definitely get the feeling the 517 has a smaller window. Still works fine, just seems smaller. Thoughts?

I just now measured the window size of both the 512 & 517 and they're identical.
