How much front sight am I going to see if I mount a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T on a rifle that does NOT have a front sight that I can fold down? If you have a set up like that does the front sight bother you.? My current optic is set up to co-witness with the front sight so it is not a problem.
Thanks

On a 4x Acog you see it buts more of a shadow. If you concentrate on the target and your crosshairs, eventually you won't even notice it, at least I don't. When I first got the scope I though it was an issue, but now I don't even think about it.

I have a 1x4 mounted in a Burris PEPR mount. With the scope a 1x the fsb is just a blur and not really noticable unless I think about it. You should have no problems as long as you mount the scope with a proper mount.

In my avatar you can see my scope with a standard FSB. Works great. On my scope's lowest setting, I can kind of see a shadow of it if I hunt around. On higher settings, I can't see it at all.
