[ARCHIVED THREAD] - long range scope w/ 45* reflex/T1

Does anyone have pictures or opinions on mounting a scope along with a 45* offset and a little reflex or maybe a T1 or something? I'm building a 6.8 rifle to use for some medium (150 to 400 yards) but keeping it 16" for versatility. I was considering getting a QD Eotech or maybe an aimpoint and using it to swap from the scope (which is on a larue QD mount), but it would be nice to maybe try and do the offset reflex so it's ready to go for whatever I need.

I currently have a 6.8 sbr for closer work and it serves well from 0 to 250 and this would be the bigger brother.

Here is an H1 in a DD 1:00 offset mount

It adds some weight and bulk that I decided I didn't need on this rifle.

If I was to use a setup like that I figured I'd put it a little closer to the receiver... how usable is it really where you have it mounted, as far as difficulty in target aquisition?

Other options are the SAR or MURLM from TNVC.
