the lt-104 mount from larue is suppose to be a little higher that the normal one so you can mount the magpul backups. anyone know what kinda co witness a nightforce 1-4 would have with a fixed FSB on the 1 power?

sorry, i didnt mean co-witness in the terms of using the rear sight as well. i meant how far above the front sight post will the ret in the nightforce be? is it high enough to even be visible on 1 power?

From LT website

"Note to MBUS Users: The LT-104 will not provide enough clearance for the rear MagPul MBUS. If the rifle will have the rear MBUS installed, the correct scope mount to purchase is the LT-135"

try reading the question again hood. Front Sight, not rear.

Then why did you even mention the MBUS in your post?

let me break this down.

i am running rear magpul backups with a standard a2 front sight post.
because of this i need the 135 larue mount so the nightforce will sit high enough to fit on top of the rear backup.
my questions is what is the reticle on the nightforce going to look like on 1 power, with a fixed front sight post.
is the ret going to be high enough to not be a problem or is it still sitting low enough to have the front sight in the way?

sorry in my first post i realized i said 104 and not 135, my bad
