What would be a good detachable scope mount that won't break the bank?

How good are they at rezeroing?

I want to occasionally shoot long distance, but also want to take the scope off and play at closer distances too.

I'll probably buy a tactical scope of some sort, probably a 6x18 or something.

Any that attaches to a Picatinny rail with detachable mounts. This is what the miliitary uses. Not cheap, but well worth the cost.

+1. As far as I'm concerned, LaRue is the ONLY detachable scope mount, in that you don't have to re-zero your scope after removal...

If LaRue is an option, then LaRue is the answer.
