Would some one that is knowledgable about Aimpoint sights , please , take a look at

comment on these two ?

I think I am reading they both have 2 x magnification ? Does that do away with the unlimited eye releaf ?

They are both 2 MOA dots ?

That is indeed the ML2 2 Power Aimpoint. It was discontinued in June 09 so they got them at a good price.

Neither one is a magnified optic. Probably a typo or just someone who has no clue what all the numbers mean. Both good optics, but dealers regularly sell at prices below what they are allowed to advertise on their website. So, for the best deal, you have to call around. Check out the EE for dealers that sell here and get dialing.

ETA - My bad, apparently Aimpoint did put out a magnified version at one point. I wasn't aware of it.

Don't buy one. Looking through a 2x Aimpoint is like looking through a straw. I love my Aimpoint, but I'll never understand what they were thinking with those things.
