Absolutely, I do it all the time; in fact, a couple of my AR's each have multiple optics for different situations. The key is quality mounts such as LT.
Where it gets a bit more complicated is when one tries to use a given optic on multiple AR's; one must definitely keep close track of his DOPE'ing under such applications. |
