[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trijicon Acog help

Im thinking of getting an Acog for my AR15. I mostly will be shooting 100 yard or less. Ive looked at the TA31 and the TA11. What would your choices be. Keep in mind that I will also be using it in tactical close range simulations.Please help with choice.

I have both. Prefer the TA-11 eye relief. TA-13 is slightly smaller, though.

That said, for ranges under 100 yards, I'd rather use my Aimpoint T1s. 1X resolution, small, light, tough.

If you are sold on an ACOG, go with the TA11F. Given your distances, you may want to consider an EOTech.

Or Trijicon's RX30 or the Tri-power.

Had a TA11 when TA31 variants were hard to come by at the beginning of the Iraq war. Liked it, but when I finally got my TA31, there was no looking back. Eye relief doesn't bother me, I like the extra magnification and FOV, its smaller size is nice too.
