I have a CompC3 and I'm either 'slow' or my Aimpoint is kinda gimped. It's probably the former, and not the latter, but anyway,
When trying to sight in my Aimpoint it seems that up is down, left is right....literally... Under the caps we see this: UP - L 0––––-> UP-R 0––––-> And I've got it mounted right-handed. When I turn the UP-L knob in the direction of the arrow I assume that the dot should move UP in the tube, if I move it toward the '0', it should move down Likewise, on the UP-R knob, I assume that turning the knob in the R direction would move it right. Neither of these are true though. Turning toward the R moves the dot left, turning toward UP moves the dot down. What am I doing wrong? |

The adjustment screw on the top, the elevation, the UP applies. Ignore the windage indication (L, R). The adjustment on the side, windage, the R or L applies, ignore the UP. They are labled both ways for the optional mount method (switch in the upper left). That way your elevation becomes your windage, and your windage becomes your elevation. So they are labled both ways. |
