Well I finally changed my no name factory supplied CR1/3N zoom dot battery today.  I've had it on constantly since the first week of Sept 08.  I have been checking  it a few times every week since I got it.  Today the dot seemed a little weak so I went outside in the bright sun and shined it on a white garage door across from my house and lost the dot in the glare.  It still worked fine inside but no go outdoors.  The battery read 1.8 volts.  10 months constantly isn't too bad.  I had planned on changing the battery every DST switch like I do with the smoke detectors.  I think that will be fine.  Obligitory pic of the zoom dot in a AMD M68 mounted on my Stag.  David

Cool, My zoom dot is still chugging along on its original battery. It is probably time to swap it out.

I've been shooting my rifle a lot lately and a lot of people ask me about it. Even the aimpoint owners seem to like it.
