I just bought a used ACOG TA01 with a LaRue LT 100 mount already attached. When I mounted it onto my STAG, the cross hairs are not perfectly vertical. I am hoping someone has an easy fix for me since I am a novice with this setup. Thanks in advance.

on second thought....maybe I did not have my eye in the correct position and it simply looked slanted

First ACOG I ever bought I swore the reticle was crooked and sent it back.
Came to find out the attaching hole wasn't drilled squared and perpendicular in the carry handle,,,,,,,

Checking it is pretty easy.  Put your rifle or upper into something that will hold it level, I use a cleaning stand.  Then level it using a small bubble level placed on the upper receiver.  Sight in on a plumb bob or anything else that you know is perfectly vertical.

If you still think the ACOG is out of whack call Trijicon.  They have good customer service.

I have handled two ACOGs: one on a Rock River and the other on a Bushmaster. Both appeared to have the crosshairs slighly canted to the left. I personally think the flattop is canted for right handed shooters. Just my opinion.
I used to have two A2 ARs, and when mounting scopes with integral mounts, the cross hairs were always canted..

1- make sure it is in the mount properly, 2- make sure mount is attached properly. Trij and Larue are reputable companies, if there is still a problem, take it up with them.

Many people will hold a rifle slightly canted.  Check to make sure that you are not the faulty one in this equation.

I thought my ACOGs were crooked too, until I realized I cant my rifles.
