Anyone using the Daniel Defense 1 o'clock offset mount? If so, is it an easy transition to shoot from that position?
Any opinions and experience would be appreciated, so would pics!

It is easier to transition to than a 45 degree mount. I found that I just did not like tilting my gun over, and I shoot a 1-4x optic to solve that problem. The DD 1 o'clock mount is a great option for a mini red dot on a different plane, but two planes of optics isn't for me.

Tag.  Was considering posting this exact same question.

I like it a lot on my rig. I was using it with a SS 10x scope but have a ACOG TA31H coming any day now that will be sitting on top with the T-1. I find that after training with it, you get very fast transitioning to it. I personally think that it is an awesome setup if you can shell out the $$$.

Any chance of a point of view pic?

As in, looking down the rifle as you would if it was to your shoulder?

I think I have one on another rifle. Let me check...

Here is one but with no scope on:

And

It's not perfectly down the sights, but you can get an idea. It's really not as bad as you would think. I was hesitant at first too.
Hope this helps.

How do you think this would work with irons?

I'm leaning towards going with a 45 degree mount, so that the irons will be above the barrel after you tilt the rifle, instead of above it and to the right.  Plus it seems like you would maintain better FOV that way.

Do you keep the same cheekweld when switching to the T1?

Not really, my head doesn't move but my wrist does. I can easily and quickly flip the rifle about 30 degres back and forth and be right where I need to be for both optics (eye relief). As I said before, once you practice with it, it really isn't much of an issue for the gains that you get from the setup. I'd look up some 3 gun videos online as they will show you a lot of guys transitioning in real time.
