First post here. I'm a proud SIG 556 owner, but I also want to be a proud AR owner. Through my own research I decided to to go with LMT and I now have a LMT complete lower receiver. Craftsmanship is very top-notch. I plan on purchasing a LMT M4/A3 upper receiver with a BCM bolt carrier group from Bravo Company. I want to keep this rifle VERY simple (for now). Iron sight ONLY and simple plastic handguards. I was told by a very knowledgeable person that if I'm only going to stick to iron sight, I should go with the A3 Carry Handle Sight. How does the Carry Handle work?
Question: 1. Where can I find an instruction manual for the Carry Handle Sight that isn't from a military handbook? I found this, but there HAS to be something better out there: http://www.armystudyguide.com/content/army_board_study_guide_topics/m16a2/zero-and-m16a2-rifle.shtml 2. Is the A3 Carry Handle Sight really better than using my front sight post with a BUIS? |
