what would be the longest range for shooting man sized targets with a 2-7x35 scope? scope in question is a burris fullfield II tactical with tac2 target turrets. also has ballistic plex crosshair. |

There is no max range for a scope.
Things to consider: Is the parallax adjustable? If not, a long range target may not be in focus and parallax will be present. How thick is the reticle on 7x? At what range will a small target like a prairie dog be hidden by the reticle? How much elevation does the scope have? At what range will you run out of elevation. |

I have that scope, except it is Fullfield II w/ Bal. Plex not the Tactical model. I have it on a 18" WOA SPR AR.
I can hit a gong w/ ease at 500 yds using the Bal. Plex reticle. 600yds? Less than 50% hits. Hit % would be alot higher if I knew the elevation clicks and dialed it in. I like that scope. Enjoy RRA15 |
