Stopped in a local shop today and was looking at some different scopes they had. They just got in this new NCStar scope with laser blue crosshairs. I always thought it would be, but now I'm 100% sure that blue is the ultimate in ret colors. It doesn't blend or get washed out against any bacground even a bright clear sky. I hope Aimpoint, Trij, and others start incorporating blue into their sights. I don't think I'd go with NCstar for my rifle but it they do have the color down. |

Don't know if you have seen it yet, but trijicon is expanding it's color selection to amber, red and green

| I have, thanks for the note though. I have yet to see anything that's as perfect as the blue though. Your eye just picks it up immediately. It's sorda like it's so different than the background and target that there's now eye/brain confusion or focus time. Your eye just imediately gets it. |
