| I know it has been done so hopefully someone can tell me what size to go get. I want to change the big screw knob on the LMT sight to a button head cap screw. What size do I need? |

Don't dremel first. On my first one I backed the knob off as far as I could and then dremeled the shank off. It barely has enough threads to hold the lock nut on. The second one I did I took a set of vise grips and just torqued the knob completely off. Then I put the lock nut next to it to see how much shank I should leave and cut off the excess.
