Which Trijicon ACOG would be best for all around on an AR. I have Eotech and Aimpoint. Looking at getting an ACOG. But, there are so many models. Any advice on what you guys like would be really appreciated. Thanks guys. |

Depends on what you mean by "best for all around on an AR" Might want to ask in the Optics Forum and check out some of the tacked threads there about choosing an optic. Great thread started by Hokie on the TA33-R Myself, I'm strongly considering a TA33H-G |

I got the TA31ECOS. Everytime I take it out its like I just bought it all over again. I love it. This web site will give you different options and will show the the magnifications and reticles. This paticular scope has 3 types of sights all built in to one, and believe me all 3 are on the mark with very little tweaking out of the box. Take a look and tell me what you think. |

I have a TA31F on my AR and a TA01 on my sons..... the only negative is the low eye relief but I prefer the 4X so its tradeoff.
Personally I prefer the TA31F due to the fiber optics, red chevron and the BAC... which I dont have any issues using from 5yds out to.... My son prefers his TA01 w/ crosshairs which can be aimed more accurately under the right conditions.... Try a few out, decide on the magnification, eye relief, reticle and even the color of reticle if applicable..... theres alot to learn/ know on the ACOGs before a purchase is made... but you will never regret purchasing an ACOG if you get the right one for your needs. They are definately worth the $$. Good luck, |
| My favorite and little known sight by Trijicon is the JP Rifles model TAO1. The special reticle eliminates the 200 yard hash mark and produces a much cleaner view of the crosshairs. The BDC - compensator is set up as a blend for 69 grain Sierra Match Kings and 77 grain Sierra Match Kings (M262). It has every yardage mark shown with ever widening hash marks that represent full value 10 mph cross winds at that range and with these bullets. Very well thought out reticle and only stocked (to my knowledge) by JP Enterprises. 4X. |

Thanks for all the information. To answer so of the questions, all of my rifles are flat tops with 14.7'' or 16" barrels. I use my rifles for range fun and home defense. Man there are so many models |
