| I am looking for a optic for my M4, it has a 16 inch upper on it. I am torn between the eotech 516 or the comp ml3, I dont have night vision and I plan on getting a magnifier. the prices are relativly close, I am looking for pros and cons. I found a really good deal on the 516 for 401.00 and the comp ML3 is 500 at laRue. I know I could buy a mount for the eotech, but I would like feed back on both products please. I know nothing about optics. |

I prefer the EO, but its something you need to get behind a few different sights and see what YOU like.
There are a lot of EOtech haters out there, but dont believe everything you hear. Aimpoint also makes an excellent sight, with great battery life. Larure also makes an excellent mount, which is what I have for my aimpoint and the EO.

If you don't need night vision capabilities and you don't plan on scuba diving with your rifle look at the Aimpoint Comp C3.
I have a love hate relationship with EOTech. I love the recticle, large window and holografic inmage... I hate the controls, battery life and the fact that two different ones took a shit on me. |
