Wanting to put a scope on my 6920, I know of two options, one would be to use a carry handle riser or a flat top riser, I found one made by B-Square but I can't seem to find any pictures of it on an AR, I want the scope to clear the front sight. Also If I were to do one of these options would the scope keep zero after I take it off and put it on again? Right now I have an aimpoint on it, but would like to see how just how accurate this rifle can be with a little magnification. Thanks

How about an ACOG (TA51 mount) for your flat top?

Works for mine.

I'm currently in the same boat as you, I'm considering what kind of glass to put on my second 6920. Is there a reason why you want the optic to clear the FSB? Having it up that high creates all sorts of problems. For one thing, your glass is way over the bore axis. For another, it's hard to get a proper cheekweld without a cheekpiece. When you have a cheekpiece, accessing your irons is tough.

Here are a few pics for your consideration.

Mini-ACOG on 6920 carry handle. Less than ideal:

Same rifle, different Mini-ACOG:

Two rail-mounted ACOGs-the FSB is merely a shadow in the FOV in both optics:

ACOG TA-11D on A2 carbine. Too damned high, needs cheekpiece:

Leupold 3-9x40 on handle. Cheekpiece installed, access to irons impossible:

The Aimpoint-equipped carbine below has a lower 1/3 co-witness:
