I've looking to get a different mounting system on the TA31F I was wondering about the Larue quick detach. I haven't purchased anything Larue so far I have seen a few comments concerning the company but not the products as I recall. Is the product good quality and which would be a good MFG to compare them with?

Outstanding ACOG mount.  They offer the LT 100 and one that is the reverse of the 100 with the levers on the right side.  Quality gear.

It doesn't get any better than Larue.

Great product.......way, way overpriced.  That little Larue engraving brings the price up considerably.  Never heard of anyone being unhappy with the product though.

Some people question the way ML conducts himself on these boards, but nobody questions his mounts. They are the best.

As for me, any man that will give away a complete stealth upper ever month along with a ton of other stuff and that stands behind his products has a good chance of getting my business. And LaRue has earned me as a customer. You can't go wrong with LaRue.

ETA: check out the first post in this thread regarding the quality of LaRue's ACOG mounts. As a side note, Trijicon also recommends the LaRue mounts.

I have the ARMS #19 LD for my ACOG.  The clamp is super tight and I don't see it coming loose for any reason.

Ordered the LT100 and thought since I'm paying 10 bucks for frieght I might as well order the forward grip LT690 not sure if I'm going to like that but what the hey!

You won't be disappointed with either one. LaRue is quality stuff.

I've got the LT100 on my TA31F. For what the scope cost the mount was nothing.

Also you want the best you can get to make that glass stick solid on the top of the rifle...

Since I'm bit new to the board I appreciate the input. Per Mr. Larue I have to admire his cuts and timing for going into buisness for himself and apparently becoming very successful. The american dream I would say!! Now that those parts have been ordered I'm thinking I'm getting close to the end on this rifle. My original plan was one AR15 now I'm not sure that's possiable. Lucky I'm the only one with the combo to the gun safe.....

Got the ARMS mount for my TA31ECOS and the clamps are too tight and would take an act of congress to adjust them if its even possible. I purchased a LaRue mount for my Surefire and also got the FUG and both clamps are totally adjustable. LaRue all the way!!! Not to mention the dry rub and all the goodies you get when you purchase from them

By the way have any of you tried out the dry rub yet..buddy of mine said it worked out on his steaks pretty good.

Too much red pepper IMO.

Larue mounts are the best available.

Mix it with a little brown sugar and garlic. It is fantastic on ribs.
