I'm purchasing a "previously experienced" Eo Magnifier 3x (FTS mount).
With my current setup, I'm concerned about the magnifier (when in the flip-to-side mode) being too close to the shell deflector. Am I over-thinking this?? |

Quoted: I run the 4X so the objective lens is a tad bit bigger than the 3X. Even with that setup, you won't have a problem with shell deflector. However, I have had the problem with gas and oil splashing on the lens so I turned the mount around to flip to the left. I have a 4x as well and also have never had any problems. Unless you are doing something that requires quick changes between magnified and unmagnified it is probably easier to just take the magnifier off the gun when you aren't using it. It's got a quick detach so it only takes a second and takes some of the weight off. |

It was a heavy combo for sure. EML, no one sells the Samson FTS mount separately AFAIK. The LaRue EOTech FTS mount will fit Gen 1 EOT magnifiers though. Give them a call. |

Where did you get the EOTech 3X Gen I FTS Mount from? Notice the new Eotech G23 magnifier has the adjustment system built into the optic and not the mount ? The original 3x optic mount would lose it's zero everytime it was "flipped" due to loose adjustment screws. |
