I've been really wanting a TA-33 compact ACOG, except for the price.
Is there really a less-expensive alternative to it –– in terms of its lightweight and compact size? Is the upcoming Burris 332 a possible option? |

Is the upcoming Burris 332 a possible option? Sure is I am sure there are quite a few others Just dont expect a optic that is a third or half the price to be as good. I would like to see the burris in person because it would make a good rabbit scope that doesnt break the bank. I have been thinking of selling my TA33 but only so I could buy a 31(I think) ACOG's are a wonderful optic |

I always wonder why these companies don't make cheaper, non-military versions for people who don't need the ultra shock absorbent, water proof to 1,000 leagues under the sea, fire absorbent, integrated stealth technology versions they sell to uncle sam. Maybe if they had a problem selling the ones they make now they would but as it is they are backordered on almost everything Trijicon is pretty good at leaving the cheap side to some other scope makers |

Then your rifle is for plinking or range duty so stop looking at the ACOG. This is the reason that Millet DMS-1, Weaver VX3 1-3X and other low-priced variable scopes exist. |

| I have the TA31F and after looking at the other ACOG models like the cheaper TA33's the FOV is just to small.. I am prolly going to go with the new Mini ACOG as a replacement for a RDS since from the FOV is just as good as the TA31's but the power is 1.5 and it is really small.. not sure what I will go with but it will be the new mini acog or another TA31F for my LMT. The only reason I dont like the TA33s are the FOV is just to small but its a good optic for those who dont need a big FOV and just use it for plinking.. |
