| any experience with these scopes? how do they hold up against recoil? |
| the higher end ones (costing a few hundred) seem to be ok, and are made in japan. i have a friend who had a bunch of the current production ones, and i used to have a couple of the alaskan guide 4.5-14X40's with the RF reticle. one of them was on my 300RUM hunting rifle and it held up great. the lower end ones are chinese made though and with any chinese made optics i would stay away. |

What 300 said. The Alaskan Guide are decent to good scopes. The lower priced ones are trash. |
