Which ACOG and why for a 18" SHTF setup. I'm leaning towards the TA11 but after reading Hokie's thread on the TA33 has back on the fence.

having owned a TA33 and handled several TA11's..........my vote goes to the TA31F.

That is a good choice. The 01NSN is also a good choice over the TA33.

I really like the 01NSN for longer range due to the crosshair reticle, I'm just more accurate with them than the other types. I piggybacked a red dot on top for close in encounters and it worked quite well while deer hunting in thick brush. Of course, I'm selling mine now so what do I know.

I'd vote for a TA11 I absolutely love mine. Ya its bigger but i love the eye relief.
